I photograph people as they are — and as they could be.
I'm Amanda, a portrait photographer based on the Isle of Wight
I'm interested in the space between strength and vulnerability, confidence and uncertainty, the person we show the world and the person underneath it.
My portraits are carefully made, but I don't want them to feel overly constructed. I'm drawn to quiet gestures, a direct gaze, movement, texture and light — the small things that make a photograph feel like someone, rather than simply a photograph of someone.
